Food Service Equipment Installer (Grand Island, NE)
Objective
To provide service and customer support during delivery and installation of commercial foodservice equipment.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Inspect, load, deliver, and unload foodservice equipment
- Unpack, set up, install, and start up foodservice equipment
- Instruct owners on the operation of foodservice equipment
- Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organization
- Operate vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems
- Follow all company-filed procedures and protocols
- Build positive relationships with customers
Competencies, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to fabricate and assemble equipment
- English literacy; Spanish literacy is preferred but not required
- Drivers license; a CDL is preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules
- Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
- Technical degree or certification
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers, equipment manufacturers, and company staff

Foodservice Equipment & Supply Sales / Customer Service (Grand Island, NE)
Position Summary/Objective:
This position is responsible for customer service, including greeting customers, assisting with restaurant and kitchen product information and location, closing sales at the POS, and other customer service tasks. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of sales, merchandising, and computer skills, as well as strong customer service and people skills.
Education and Experience:
- High school education or equivalent (preferred)
- Retail or foodservice products: 1 year (preferred)
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide customer and staff support in a kitchen equipment and supply retail environment.
- Maintain the customer environment at the front of the store, and answer phone calls when necessary.
- Perform POS/Register functions for customer sales.
- Support the store manager in PO, Receiving, and Inventory replenishment tasks in the accounting system.
- Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing sales and related results as expected.
Competencies, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good organizational and excellent time management skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Proactive work ethic and a self-starter.
- English literacy, with Spanish helpful.
- Good accounting and computer skills are a must.
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers, equipment manufacturers, and company staff.
- Restaurant, Foodservice, and Kitchen knowledge or experience in foodservice is very beneficial.
Other Requirements:
- The job involves regularly lifting products/supplies weighing a minimum of 25 pounds. The individual must be mobile and able to bend, reach, kneel, stoop, and crouch.
Training Requirements:
- Training in applicable procedures that relate to the area of responsibility.
Job Type:
- Full-time, Part-time, or Internship considered.
- Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour; based on experience.
- Hours:
- Day Shift: Monday – Friday 10:00 am to 5:30 pm
- Weekend Availability: Saturday – 9:00 am to 12:30 pm
