Service Technician (Grand Island, NE)

Position Summary/Objective:  To provide service and customer support during field visits. Will perform  on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks for Refrigeration, Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Appliances. Diagnosis of technical problems to determine proper solutions and to gain customer confidence is imperative.   

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.  
  • Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.  
  • Tie Workflow to schedule.  
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions. 
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports. 
  • Document processes efficiently and effectively. 
  • Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.  
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Operate vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems. 
  • Follow all company filed procedures and protocols.
  • Build positive relationships with customers.  

 

Competencies, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven field service experience or training. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment. 
  • English literacy, with Spanish helpful. 
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules. 
  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications. 
  • Ability to fabricate and assemble equipment.
  • Technical degree or certification. 
  • Strong relationship building skills with customers, equipment manufacturers and company staff.  

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time or Internship

Required Experience:

  • Candidates should possess above competencies, skills and abilities. 
  • Will train candidate who has recently completed any HVAC, Refrigeration or Technical program. 
Retail Store Cashier / Customer Service (Grand Island, NE)

Position Summary/Objective: This position is responsible for customer service; greeting customers, assisting with restaurant and kitchen product info and location, closing sales at the POS, and other customer service tasks. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of sales, merchandising, computer skills as well as strong customer service people-skills.    

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer and staff support in a kitchen equipment and supply retail environment.  
  • Maintain customer environment at front of store, answer phones when necessary.
  • Perform POS/Register functions for customer sales. 
  • Support the store manager in PO, Receiving and Inventory replenishment tasks in accounting system. 
  • Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing sales and related results as expected.    

Competencies, Skills & Abilities:

  • Good organizational and excellent time management skills.  
  • Exceptional customer service skills.  
  • Proactive work ethic and self-starter. 
  • English literacy, with Spanish helpful. 
  • Good accounting and computer skills a must. 
  • Strong relationship building skills with customers, equipment manufacturers and company staff.  
  • Restaurant, Foodservice, Kitchen knowledge or experience in foodservice very beneficial. 

Other Requirements:

  • Job includes lifting of product/supplies ranging from minimal of 25 pounds on a regular basis.  Individual will be required to be mobile, with bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and crouching. 

Training Requirements:

  • Training to applicable procedures that relate to area of responsibility. 

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time or Internship considered.  

Hours:  Tuesday – Friday 10am – 6pm

              Saturday – 9am – 4pm
